MTP®/MPO jumpers, allow for the seamless migration to higher data rates in the data centre when used in conjunction with our trunk cables. They are typically used for patching within a cabinet. MTP®/MPO cable, a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming field termination, is designed for high-density fibre patching in data centres which need space saving and reduce cable management troubles.
Due to the MTP®/MPO-12 also supporting MTP®/MPO-8 fibre systems, it is also ideal for 8-fibre parallel single mode optical transceivers applications, such as 40G QSFP+ PLR4, 100G QSFP28 PSM4, 400G OSFP DR4/XDR4, and 400G QSFP-DD DR4/XDR4 optics connection.
